We continuously monitor the clear sky and radar, although showers and rumbles of thunder are visible further toward the Absarokas in Northwestern Wyoming. This activity is associated with a minor disturbance that may bring isolated rain but is likely to dissipate against a strong high-pressure system. This system is expected to warm KOTA Territory, with temperatures reaching 90 by Sunday.

A slight tempering of this warm trend is anticipated until the weekend due to northwesterly winds from a passing system moving from Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This could produce colorful sunrises and sunsets for your Friday, with more limited smoke in the eastern part of the KOTA Territory on Saturday.
