After days of rain and chilly weather, the weekend could be a bit warmer in southern Ontario.
From 50 to 60 mm of rain is expected to fall over parts of the GTA on Thursday with more rain in the forecast for Friday.
But forecasters are predicting the sun will come out on the weekend.
The Weather Network forecasts a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville, Durham Region and Hamilton.
After a low of 6 C on Friday night, the temperature could reach a high of 14 C on Saturday in the GTA, according to Environment and Climate Canada.
A low of 7 C is expected on Saturday night.
Environment Canada predicts mostly cloudy skies on Saturday and a mix of sun and cloud on Sunday.
The high could reach 15 C on Sunday with a low back down to 7 C in the evening.
