RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – In wake of yesterday‘s cold front, we’ll see sunny, mild weather conditions today. Highs will be in the 50s this afternoon.

A ridge of high pressure will move over KOTA Territory on Thursday, resulting in sunshine in balmy 60s.

The next weather system will again miss us to the south and west Friday and Saturday, but there will be another cold front shift winds to the north and bring in slightly cooler air. Highs will be in the 50s Friday through the weekend. If we were to see any rain, it would be Saturday in the form of sprinkles.

The weather pattern will change next week. The details still need to be worked out, but expect much chillier weather by midweek and beyond. Stay tuned.
