Expect cooler temperatures than normal this Father’s Day weekend in southern Ontario.
The warm weather experienced in the region this week won’t last for the weekend. Temperatures hit 28 C on Wednesday in the GTA, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Thursday was also expected to be warm with highs around 24 C.
But on Friday, a high of only 19 C is forecast with partly cloudy skies in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington and Oakville.
It could be slightly cooler in Hamilton but a bit warmer in Durham Region and the Niagara Region.
The low drops down to 11 C on Friday night in the GTA.
On Saturday, highs around 20 C and lows down to 13 C with cloudy periods are forecast.
Temperatures warm up to 23 C on Sunday with a mix of sun and cloud and a low of 15 C in the evening.
