The top 10 worst roads in Ontario for 2025 have been revealed.
CAA has released its annual list and for the second consecutive year, Hamilton’s Aberdeen Avenue tops the list.
“Frustrations with potholes and poor road maintenance have kept this road in the number one spot,” CAA said in a media release.
It first appeared on the provincial list of worst roads in 2023.
Barton Street East in Hamilton took the second spot and County Road 49 in Prince Edward County was number three. Each have previously appeared in the top 10 list of worst roads six and seven times respectively, CAA said.
“Both roads are expected to receive significant upgrades and are in the planning stages,” the release noted.
Participants nominated more than 2,400 different roads from 208 municipalities, CAA said, which is up from 2,000 roads from 145 municipalities in 2024.
