Upstate New York has Green Lakes with its gorgeous jade-colored waters and as well as Lake George, touted as the cleanest lake in America. A new list however, has declared a lake bordering the state as the bluest lake in the entire world.
Canada Casino, though not exactly the world’s lake experts, shared a study in which they analyzed the color of 80 popular lakes worldwide via unedited satellite photos. With a color match tool, they found the average HEX color code of each lake and compared it to YInMn Blue, a brilliant blue hue discovered in 2009.
Lake Ontario came closest to matching the YInMn Blue, followed by Lake Superior.
