Liberal Senator Alex Antic says the South Australian government are going “full steam ahead” on a First Nations Voice despite an overwhelming federal defeat in the referendum.
“They’re not backing down from it … despite overtures from our side of the fence,” Mr Antic said.
“We’re expecting that it will become law early in the new year, next year.
“The madness continues.”
South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas has maintained that a state-based Voice has not been damaged by a resounding No result federally.
