The Split star Nicola Walker has signed up for a brand new comedy from the creators of Baby Reindeer.

The actress, who is also known for her roles in Unforgotten, Annika and Last Tango in Halifax, is set to lead an upcoming Disney+ series that’s being produced by Clerkenwell Films – the production company behind Netflix‘s hit stalker drama.

As well as Nicola, the comedy, titled Alice and Steve, will also star Flight of the Conchords actor Jemaine Clement. Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, with further casting now underway.

Filming on the show, which is currently in its pre-production phase, is slated to commence in May.

A TV insider told The Sun: “Nicola Walker is an extremely talented and versatile actor and is widely respected in the industry and loved by viewers at home.
