Season two of the HBO series The Last of Us returns this Sunday.

Zombies will be crawling all over your screen as the iconic series returns.

Season one was filmed exclusively in Alberta with many scenes being filmed in High River, Okotoks, Nanton and throughout the Foothills.

HBO returned to Canada to shoot season two but chose British Columbia instead of the Wild Rose province.

HBO spent $141 million in Alberta for season one while filming from July 2021 to June 2022, debuting in January 2023.

The series picks up five years after season one, with actors Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey returning as Joel and Ellie.

You can watch it on HBO, HBO MAX and stream it on Crave in Canada.
