Israel says it’s shifting its military efforts to its northern border with Lebanon to punish Hezbollah, and to let tens of thousands of displaced Israelis return to their homes.

But the escalating death and destruction in the region, coupled with the angry rhetoric from both Israeli and Hezbollah leaders, suggests no one will be going home any time soon.
