Those who can’t wait for winter to start may be in luck this week in southern Ontario.
Sudbury and areas to the north of the GTA already had snowfalls and there are snow squall warnings issued for the Sault Ste. Marie area on Tuesday.
GTA residents may also see the first blast of winter as there is a chance of snow every day this week, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
On Tuesday, there is a 30 to 40 per cent chance of flurries with temperatures dipping down to 0 C in the evening in Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, Niagara Region and Durham Region.
Wednesday the trend continues with a 30 per cent chance of snow or rain. The high is 4 C and low down to -1 C.
There is a higher, 40 per cent, chance of snow or rain on Thursday but warmer temperatures, reaching a of 5 C.
