Ahmad Shah, 72, told the Star he was with his family at his son’s home when he found a stranger attacking his dog last Saturday.

A Thornhill man says he’s emotionally shaken and losing sleep after he was injured trying to stop a random and unprovoked attack on his family’s dog by a stranger in his backyard last weekend. 

Ahmad Shah, 72, told the Star he was with his family at their home in the area of Centre and Brooke streets last Saturday evening when he heard cries from their 11-month-year-old German shepherd, Flambo, in the backyard.
