The annual St. Thomas Sports Sports Spectacular presented by Hydro One has landed another superstar for the annual event later this month.

Former Buffalo Bills running back Thurman Thomas will join the head table for the event on Jan. 23 in St. Thomas, Ont., which raises money for local Special Olympics and Community Living Elgin.

The NFL Hall of Famer and 1991 league Most Valuable Player had 18,646 career rushing and receiving yards and 109 career touchdowns over 13 seasons.

Thomas is replacing Andre Reed, who can no longer attend.

He joins an already impressive head table for the event at the St. Anne’s Centre which will feature former NHLer and Shoresy actor Terry Ryan telling stories as the main speaker.

“Tickets are going well, and we’ve got a great head table,” said Sean Dyke, the event’s chairperson.

“We’re looking forward to another great night”.
