Tim Burchett : Kamala Harris a “DEI Hire” [Video]

In an interview with CNN Republican Representative Tim Burchett has sparked controversy by referring to Vice President Kamala Harris as a “DEI hire” as she stands to become the first woman of color nominated for president by a major party. Burchett claimed, “Biden said, first off, he’s going to hire a Black female for Vice President, and he just skipped over — what about White females, what about any other group?” He further stated, “100% she was a DEI hire,” and “Her record is abysmal at best.” Burchett predicted Trump would fare better against Harris, saying, “She couldn’t find the border if she had a compass and a map.” Meanwhile, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan argued that Trump can beat any Democratic nominee, stating, “I don’t think it matters who the Democrats run. Can’t change the facts.”
