Tim Hortons plans to open 10 new locations in Maryland, expanding its U.S. presence.
MARYLAND, USA — Timbits and dutchies are heading south for an American lifestyle. Canada’s most popular restaurant chain is coming to Maryland.
Tim Hortons announced they will be opening 10 new locations in both Howard and Carroll Counties. The chain was named after the late hockey player, who founded the company in 1964. Tim Hortons is widely known for its premium coffee and fresh donuts.
“We’re excited to bring Tim Hortons to the communities of Howard and Carroll Counties,” said Kyle Corman, senior real estate manager at Tim Hortons. “Our Maryland expansion reflects a commitment to growing in markets where guests are looking for great coffee, convenient drive-thrus and warm, welcoming spaces.”
Each Maryland location will be 1,600 square feet and feature an indoor dining area.
