Tim Hortons robbed in Alberta, Sask. leads to arrest [Video]

A 25-year-old man from Medicine Hat who robbed a dozen Tim Horton’s locations in Alberta and five more in Saskatchewan has been arrested, according to RCMP.

In an update published Wednesday afternoon, RCMP reported that officers finally caught up with the suspect after a five-month investigation into cross-jurisdictional break and enters.

Between June and October of 2024 – 12 separate break and enters were reported in Alberta, believed to have been perpetrated by the same suspect.

They included Brooks, High River, Hanna, Vermilion, Rocky Mountain House, Rocky View County, Strathmore, Drayton Valley, Didsbury, Stettler, and two in Wetaskiwin.

Additionally, there were five Saskatchewan locations affected. They included Tim Horton’s in Maple Creek, Kindersley, Swift Current, Saskatoon and Indian Head.
