A new travel survey finds 83 per cent of Canadians plan to travel in 2025, search aggregator Skyscanner said in their annual travel trends report.
Finding the best value is important with 62 per cent of Canadians saying the cost of flights is one of the most important factors.
However, as prices have increased, many travellers are budgeting the same or more for airfare in 2025 compared to last year.
Spending on accommodation and car rentals is expected to rise, with planned budget increases of 32 per cent and 15 per cent, respectively.
Skyscanner compiled a list of the travel destinations with the biggest price drops for Canadians. The price drops are based on return flights booked between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2024 compared to the same time in 2023.
