Toronto police investigating 2 Etobicoke stabbings [Video]

Police are searching for several suspects following two separate stabbings in Etobicoke on Sunday night.

The first incident happened near Park Lawn and Berry roads in the Stonegate-Queensway neighbourhood.

Police said they were called to that area around 7:11 p.m. for reports of a victim who was allegedly approached by a group of youths and stabbed.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There are no suspect descriptions available at this point.

The second stabbing happened near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Douglas Boulevard, east of Royal York Boulevard, in the Mimico neighbourhood.

Police said they were called to that area around 8:42 p.m.

They said that a man was found with a stab wound.

Paramedics said the victim was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.

The suspect in this case is described as a Black male, 35 to 40 years old and five foot eight with a thick build. He was last seen …
