Toronto police are expected to announce details of new provincial helicopters Friday morning, after Doug Ford pledged $134 million for their purchase.

Toronto police are about to announce details of new provincial air support to help combat surging automobile crime in the city.

Chief Myron Demkiw and Solicitor General Michael Kerzner will provide the update at 11 a.m. Friday at Downsview Airport. The conference will be streamed on Youtube.
