Windsor has helped the Salvation Army Windsor to surpass its donation goal for the 2024 Christmas Kettle Campaign.

The total raised by the community was $257,651, beating the goal of $240,000.

“This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of the hundreds of volunteers who selflessly contribute their time each year,” said Jason Linton, executive director of the Salvation Army Windsor Centre of Hope.

“Surpassing our goal reflects the spirit of compassion and generosity that defines Windsor. We extend our heartfelt thanks to every donor, volunteer and partner who contributed to this success.”

The Salvation Army said it is committed to supporting vulnerable people and families in Windsor, continuing to work to address food insecurity, housing stability and community well-being.

“We are deeply grateful to the Windsor community for their unwavering support and kindness,” said Captain Nyree Bond, corps officer of the Salvation Army South Windsor Citadel.
