State Highway 191 eastbound entrance ramp closed at Mile Marker 270.

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas — According to Public Information Officer, Maryann R. Cedillo with the Texas Department of Transportation, Midland and Ector Counties are experiencing closures this week.

The following closures are listed below, according to Cedillo: 

  • Eastbound frontage road entrance ramp closed: SH 191 MM 270
  • Main Lanes Open: Both directions over Yukon bridge
  • Shoulder Closures: Expect shoulder closures
  • Frontage Roads: Reduced to one lane in each direction
  • New Exits Open:
    • Eastbound exit to SH 348/FM 1788
    • Westbound exit to Faudree Rd.
  • Width Restrictions: Frontage road lanes have 11′ width restrictions
  • Exit Closures:
    • Eastbound main lane to S. Yukon Rd. exit closed, use Faudree Rd. (Spur 588) exit
    • Westbound main lane to N. Yukon Rd. exit closed, use SH 349 exit.
  • Traffic Alert: IH 20 in Ector County 
    • Widen Freeway Project: From East of JBS to Midland County Line
    • Start: Wednesday, March 26End: Monday, April 14
    • Lanes Affected: Faudree Intersection westbound frontage road (185 feet from the Frontage Road towards Faudree)
