Transport truck crashes through median in 6-vehicle collision on Highway 400 in Ontario [Video]

A transport truck crashed through a median on Highway 400 in Ontario.

The tractor-trailer was travelling northbound on the highway at Bayfield Street in Barrie when the vehicle crashed through the median and ended up in the southbound lanes on Thursday morning, the OPP said on X.

The truck crashed into vehicles in the southbound lanes, the OPP said.

OPP said five other vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was transported to hospital, police said, but there are no reports of serious injuries.

All southbound lanes of Highway 400 were closed as of 7:50 a.m.

Only one northbound lane was open.
