No one was injured when a truck crashed into a building on a busy Vancouver street Monday afternoon, according to authorities.

Police tape went up at the scene on Clark Drive near East 1st Avenue, where a truck belonging to a local food company hit a building used by the Vancouver School Board as a workshop for maintenance staff.

The Vancouver Police Department said no one was injured, but that structural damage was apparent.

The school board also confirmed there were no injuries, and said it is still assessing the impact on operations.

No transit detours or road closures were reported.
