The White House is continuing to discuss the idea of Canada becoming the United States’ 51st state. This week, President Trump said Canada is “considering” giving up its statehood in exchange for protection by his proposed “Golden Dome” missile defense system. This comes despite Canadian officials repeatedly saying they aren’t for sale.
