TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa and Fort Worth, Texas teamed up to offer 2025 Folk Alliance International Conference (FAI) attendees a once in a lifetime experience. 

The Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts and Cultures (FMAC) and Hear Fort Worth will have their own room in the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel in Quebec for the FAI. 

Both organizations intend to support and promote their local artists during the conference. 

“Fort Worth and Tulsa have such unique cultures that aren’t found anywhere else, and that carries over into their music,” said Tom Martens, Director of the Fort Worth Music Office. “In Texas, of course we have Western culture, but we also have R&B and soul, and in Tulsa it’s the unique, genre-blurring ‘Tulsa Sound’ that makes it stand out.
