Two arrested, two at-large after stolen car crash in Oshawa [Video]

Two Quebec teens have been arrested for multiple offences, with two more suspects unaccounted for after a collision involving a stolen car in Oshawa a week ago.

Durham Police responded to a collision involving two vehicles near Olive Avenue and Ritson Road on Sunday, February 2 just after 9:30 p.m. One of the vehicles was an unplated black BMW SUV and the four occupants had fled on foot. Two of the suspects were found nearby and arrested.

The occupants of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.

Members from the Project Attire – Auto Theft Unit and the Central East Criminal Investigations Branch determined the BMW was associated to “numerous” thefts and attempted thefts of motor vehicles. The BMW was seized and a warrant is being sought.
