Two Chazy hockey players are competing for a local prep school in Lake Placid [Video]

Two former Section VII standouts on the high school ice, both from the same hometown, are midway through their first season at a local prep hockey program. Ryan Demers and Lily Pratt, both from Chazy, New York, are continuing their hockey careers at the Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York. “I definitely love it so far,” Pratt said. “It’s a big change from home, but it’s a good change.”Pratt who is on the girls’ hockey prep team, and Demers who is on the boys’ hockey prep team, both were sectional champions for Beekmantown High School’s girls’ and boys’ hockey programs during the 2023-24 season.
