An Oshawa man is facing impaired driving charges for the second time in three days.
Durham Police stopped a car just before 9 a.m. Monday near Grandview Street and Beatrice Street in north-east Oshawa and administered a roadside screening test, which registered a ‘fail.’ A second test also showed the driver’s blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit.
Further investigation revealed the driver was also driving while under suspension.
Two days later, at almost the exact time of the morning, the same driver was stopped near the same location after he was seen using his cell phone. Another roadside test was performed and the driver once again failed the test, as well as a subsequent test at the station.
