Peel police charged two people and are looking for two more outstanding suspects in connection with a violent home invasion that occurred in Brampton more than two years ago.
In the early hours of Nov. 11, 2022, a man and his family, including his parents, wife and four children, were assaulted and robbed at gunpoint.
Police say four suspects pulled up to the driveway of the residence near Mississauga Road and Sandalwood Parkway and allegedly forced the man at gunpoint into the garage.
“Demands were made for money and the victim was struck in the head with a firearm,” police said in a news release.
Three suspects then entered the home and allegedly “confronted” the rest of the family, making similar demands for money.
Meanwhile, in the garage, one suspect fired a shot at the man when he tried to flee but fortunately missed, police said.
All four suspects later fled in a stolen vehicle.
