Tensions are rising ahead of a potential North America trade war. U.S. President Donald Trump looked set to follow through with his threat to impose tariffs on both Canada and Mexico on Saturday, Feb. 1. He is citing trade deficits, lax border control and the flow of fentanyl as reasons for taking the action. 

The tariffs will likely cause a host of impacts for businesses and industries, as CGTN’s Dan Williams now reports from Canada.
