Teams from across Saskatchewan are in Prince Albert for the U18 curling provincials.

The provincial curling tournament began on Friday and will continue until Dec. 30 at the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Centre

Tyler Harrison, co-chair of the host committee, says they try to host at least one event a year.

“I think it’s going to be a great event here at the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Center,” Harrison said.

“Anyone wants to come on and take a walk or come watch? It’ll be great. I’ll be curling all weekend long until Monday, and by then we’ll know who wins. “

Nine girls’ teams and six boys’ teams compete for spots at the 2025 national competition, scheduled for February in Saskatoon at the Nutana Curling Club.
