Hamilton police have uncovered what they describe as a series of man-made holes and tunnels used to power an encampment in Gage Park.

Officers discovered the MacGyver-esque electrical setup — made possible by power siphoned from a city light pole — while conducting a proactive patrol of encampments in the sprawling park Tuesday afternoon.
