BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies tonight with the chance for a few quick showers across northern locales as a weak disturbance moves out of Canada. Overnight lows will range from the mid 50s to the low 60s and there will be areas of patchy fog closer to the coast.

Friday will start off with partly to mostly cloudy skies, there will be a few showers and isolated thunderstorms in the morning, which will work in our favor to potentially lower the threat for strong to severe storms by the afternoon. The more energy these showers can pull out of the atmosphere in the morning the better chance for weaker storms by the afternoon.
