An unusually large jackpot for an Ontario lottery game has been won.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) confirmed to INsauga.com that the Lottario jackpot was won Saturday night for the first time since December.
All six numbers were matched by a ticket sold in Toronto for the $2,018,905.60 prize, the OLG said.
A $100,000 Encore prize was also won by a ticket sold in Barrie.
The Lottario jackpot starts at $250,000 and grows until it’s won.

The last time the Lottario jackpot was around the $2 million mark was in 2024 and it was won on April 13, at $2.04 million.
Prior to Saturday, the last time the jackpot was won was on Dec. 21, when a ticket sold in York Region matched all six numbers for the $1,430,311.00 prize, the OLG said.
