The driver of a vehicle that collided with a commercial truck Monday morning in north Whitby has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The OPP said a passenger vehicle struck a straight truck just before 9 a.m., with one of the drivers transported to a Toronto trauma centre.
Police are still on scene and the on-ramp from Highway 7 to Highway 412 south remains closed for the investigation.
