UPDATE: Main highway closed due to crash in Caledon, Ontario [Video]

Update: Just after 3 a.m. on Friday, emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle collision in the Highway 10 and the Grange Sideroad area, the OPP said.

Two people suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the crash, OPP said.

Just before 9 a.m., the OPP said the roadway is expected to be re-opened within the hour.

The main highway in Caledon was closed early Friday morning due to a crash.

Highway 10 was closed in both directions between Olde Base Line Road (County Road 12) and The Grange Sideroad due to a collision, OPP said around 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Just before 5 a.m., OPP said the highway was closed in both directions between King Street (County Road 9) and Charleston Sideroad (County Road 24) for the collision investigation and cleanup.

Police asked drivers to avoid the area.
