US man frustrated with Canadian police after pick-up truck stolen in Ontario

Another unsolved auto theft case remains in limbo as a New Hampshire man says his pick-up truck was stolen during a recent visit with his daughter in Ontario.

Though the GPS tracker in the vehicle revealed it ended up in Montreal, police have yet to take steps to retrieve it.

According to police, it is most likely in a container and there aren’t enough resources to start searching every single one.

“I got the sense it wasn’t a priority,” Robert Arndt, the owner of the stolen vehicle told Global News.

The federal government is investing $15 million specifically to help police forces across the country deal with these types of cases. Global’s Elizabeth Zogalis has the latest.
