FORT NELSON –Northern Rockies RCMP conducted a vehicle check that resulted in the seizure of firearms, drugs and cash.
A vehicle was pulled over after it appeared to be uninsured. After the stop, police found evidence to conduct a search.
That’s when Mounties located firearms, a loaded handgun, an imitation firearm, ammunition, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.
RCMP have not said what charges have been laid, but say the investigation is ongoing and further charges could be laid.
