Veteran Indigenous Rights activists on the Voice to Parliament: ‘Belongs to all Australians’

Among the biggest names in the push for Indigenous rights have come together to reflect on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s announcement that the Indigenous Voice to Parliament Referendum will occur on October 14th, 2023.

Indigenous voice supporters are relieved and hopeful about the referendum after what they described as an inclusive speech to mark the beginning of the campaign.

With decades of activism clocked up among them, the prominent figures were unanimous in their belief that “this is a referendum for all Australians”.
