Police are asking any Ontario victims of an alleged human trafficker who went by aliases the “Marty”, “Anton” and “Tony” to come forward with information.

Earlier this week, the Ottawa Police Service says 27-year-old Anthony Badibanga-Mukendi with human trafficking-related charges following an investigation into incidents “dating back multiple years.”

Investigators say the accused has travelled across Canada and it is believed there may be more victims.

Police say victims may not know the accused’s real name as he allegedly went by the aliases “Marty”, “Anton” and “Tony.” Police say Badibanga-Mukendi has allegedly “been involved in human trafficking for several years.”

“The reporting of these incidents by victims to police is key for investigators to identify suspects and determine crime trends,” police said, adding that there are support available for survivors of human trafficking.

Peel Regional Police have also issued a call for any victims to come forward with information.
