One person has been charged in connection to an arson investigation in Hamilton.
Hamilton Police said three fires were intentionally set at the same home on Elm Street, near Gage Park, in March.
In the first incident, emergency crews responded to a wooden fence fire around 3 a.m. on March 10. A Hamilton Police Fire investigator determined the fire was intentionally set.
The following day, March 11 at 3 a.m., crews responded to another fire at the same location — this time involving a vehicle parked in the driveway, police said. The investigation again confirmed the fire was an act of arson.
Then, on March 13 at 3 a.m., a third fire was deliberately set, causing extensive damage to the home, police said.
