VIDEO: Dump truck runs red light leading to careless driving charge in Ontario [Video]

Charges have been laid against a dump truck driver after police caught the operator on camera blowing through a red light, the OPP says.

The traffic stop happened on April 16 while officers with the OPP were on patrol near McEwan Drive in the Bolton area of Caledon.

Dash camera footage from the police cruiser shows the police vehicle waiting at a red light, and begins to move forward after the light turns green.

But that’s when a dump truck can be seen entering the video’s frame, driving past the police cruiser and running a red light, police say.
