A Mississauga man and two Toronto teens face robbery and other charges after a security guard was roughed up during the attempted holdup of a Vaughan cellphone store last week.
The entire incident lasted about one minute and was captured on surveillance video (see below) released on Thursday by York Regional Police.
The footage shows three suspects wearing mostly black and with faces nearly fully covered walking into a cellphone store in a shopping mall near Jane Street and Rutherford Road minutes before 9 p.m. on April 10.
Police said the trio was armed with “at least one firearm” and a demand was made that they be taken to the store safe.
