Police are on the lookout for a suspect connected to a violent home invasion in an Ontario town.

Today (May 5), York Regional Police released an image of a suspect they believe is directly connected to a home invasion that occured in the Town of Aurora this past March.

On March 6, 2025, at around 11 a.m., police were called to a residence in the Aurora area.

Upon their arrival, officers were confronted by a female victim who made the initial call. She then informed officers that she answered her front door after a series of aggressive knocks earlier that night.

As the front door opened, a male suspect forced his way into the residence and attempted to restrain her, police say.

Law enforcement officials further elaborated that a second victim, who was at the residence at the time of the incident, attempted to intervene and was subsequently violently assaulted.
