CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – This week will start off sunny, warm and dry around Charlotte, although there will be a haze drifting south from Canadian wildfires.
Thunderstorm chances will return toward the end of the week as temperatures reach nearly 90 degrees.
Early week forecast
High pressure is in control for the start of the week!
Temperatures will top out in the low 80s with the humidity in check on Monday afternoon. Expect hazy skies thanks to Canadian wildfire smoke that has prompted Code Yellow air quality alerts through midweek.
Tuesday and Wednesday will start around 60 degrees and will reach the mid to upper 80s by the afternoon.
End of week forecast
By the end of the week, temperatures will be back into the upper 80s with humid conditions and an isolated shower or thunderstorm chance.
