Warming continues into mid-week [Video]

TUESDAY EVENING: Light southerly winds and sunny skies will have helped warm our temperatures into the 60s and 70s for our Tuesday afternoon. For this evening, quiet and clear conditions are expected. Overnight, temperatures fall into the 50s for most, upper 30s for some folks in northern MN. Overall, remaining above average even with overnight temperatures.

WEDNESDAY – THURSDAY: An upper-level ridge will push through the Central and Northern Plains during the week, while a surface low moves through southern Canada around the same time. As a result, warm air (accompanied by breezy winds at times) will lift into our region, forcing temperatures to climb during that time. This means highs in the low-80s for Wednesday and low-to-mid 80s for Thursday, so mid-week will feel like summertime in spots. Skies will also be partly cloudy to mostly sunny during this time. Soak in the warmth, because temperatures that are more seasonable are around the corner.
