It’s spring but the wintry weather isn’t done with parts of Ontario just yet.
Up to 25 cm of snow is expected in parts of the province, with a snowfall warning in place for areas in the north, including Sudbury and North Bay.
“Snow will begin for the Sudbury area early this morning before advancing eastward into central Ontario by this afternoon,” Environment Canada said Monday.
“Snow is expected to taper to flurries from west to east overnight into Tuesday morning.
“In addition, northerly winds will intensify this afternoon over northeastern Ontario and over central Ontario tonight with gusts up to 60 km/h. The combination of these strong wind gusts and fresh snowfall may lead to localized reduced visibility in blowing snow.”
