Watch the Spokane Chiefs in the WHL championship series at these local spots | News [Video]

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Chiefs are continuing their WHL playoff run on the biggest stage yet: the WHL Championship Series. 

Spokane swept Portland, 4-0, to earn the Western Conference title and a date with the Eastern Conference champs: the Medicine Hat Tigers. 

The first two games of the championship series are in Medicine Hat, Alberta on Friday, May 9 and Sunday, May 11. Puck drop is at 6 P.M. PST. 

Here are a few local ‘watch spots’ that will have the games on while the Chiefs are on the road: 

• The Swinging Doors, 1018 W Francis Ave.
• The Hub Tavern, 2926 N Monroe St.
• Brick West Brewing, 1318 W 1st Ave.
• 24 Taps Burgers & Brews, 825 W Riverside Ave.

Games three and four will be inside the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena on May 13 and May 14. If needed, game five will also be played in Spokane.
