The weather agency said near freezing temperatures are possible Wednesday morning.

“Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas,” the advisory said.

“Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.”

Meanwhile, in southern Ontario, below-average temperatures and rain are expected over the next few days, though no weather advisories are currently in place for the region.
