Weather advisory in effect in parts of Southern Ontario this morning [Video]

A dense fog advisory is in effect this morning.

Residents are warned of near-zero visibility in some areas, making travel conditions potentially hazardous.

The advisory impacts Hamilton, Belleville, Quinte West and Eastern Northumberland County, where areas of dense fog have developed overnight.

Visibility in these regions is expected to improve an hour or two after sunrise. However, until that time, drivers should be prepared for significantly reduced visibility.

Motorists are advised to turn on their lights and maintain a safe following distance if visibility becomes limited. Caution is crucial, as travel may be dangerous in these conditions.
